Story Line: There was a mishap which ruined a city named Pompeii, Rome and this remained as a historical feature. Here the story is all about that natural disaster.
Story:
Milo belongs to a horse coping family and that entire family will remain destroyed after the attack of Rome Senator Carvin. But, Milo slips into the grips of burglars and later, will be raised as a warrior by a slave trader named Britannia. They will be shifting Milo to a city named Pompeii, beside a volcanic hill in Rome; after looking at his fighting skills. He will come across a girl named Casina, who is the daughter of a wealthy man. Milo finds a friend in the name of Gaziyas in the prison of Pompeii. This man Gaziyas has won for 5 times and waiting for his last chance to get himself free from their clutches. Carvin will be attending that festival as a Senator of Rome. He will go impressed with the beauty of Casina and decides to marry her. But, Casina is in love with Milo. So, Carvin plots to kill Milo in that festival in order to break their relationship and plans to arrange a fight eventually. Then, a volcanic eruption takes place over there all of a sudden while their fight is at final session.
What happened later?
Did Milo accomplish his revenge towards Senator?
What happened to their love story?
What about Milo’s friend?
How was Pompeii remained a historical monument are the interesting features we need to watch on the screen.
Overview:
Director Paul W.S. Anderson has made this film based on a true incident that took place in 79 AD and tried to show all three aspects like disaster, love story and revenge with this small subject. Scenes of volcanic eruption and Tsunami were made well and the rest of the story is not so impressive. Footprints of Gladiator were found in most of the cases in this film.
Cast Performance:
Kit Arrington played well as Milo in a natural manner. Kiffer, who played as Villain impressed everyone with his performance. Adwali played as a Barbarian; reflecting life. Emily played as Casina and she must focus more in providing perfect expressions.
Technical wing:
CG work is really amazing and scenes showing natural disasters were designed in a fabulous way.
Plus Points:
VFX
Minus Points:
Its subject is too short.
Our line:
People, who love to watch films made with VFX, truly feel amazed at watching this project.
