Legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao was suffering from cancer since few days. His condition became worse at 2.10 am today and he was shifted to Care hospital. He was treated for ten minutes but breathed his last at around 2.45 am. Care hospital doctors confirmed his death. His body was shifted to his residence. At around 9.00 am his mortal remains will be taken to the Annapurna Studio.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao popularly known as ANR was born in 1924, September 20 at Krishna District, Venkatapuram. Nageswara Rao has starred in 250+ films of various genres during his unparalleled 75-year acting career.
He won the 3 Film fare Best Telugu Actor Award his acting carrier.He was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honor for his contribution to Indian cinema, and is the recipient of the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, the highest individual lifetime achievement award for films in India.
On the other hand, the Tollywood actors are falling prey to cancer. The following deaths reveal the same. Tollywood actor Srihari died with the liver related cancer on October 9th 2013.
Tollywood comedian Dharmavarapu Subramanyam was died with bone cancer on 08th Dec 2013. Legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao was suffering from Intestine cancer since few months before his death on 22 January 2014.

The dead body shall be shifted to Annapurna studios for the sake of fans, friends and others at 09:30 am. The last rites would be performed near Erragadda Smashana vatika tomorrow, as reported.
