A note from RGV I have always been a huge fan of background scores ever since I became a film buff and one of my all time favourite pieces of music in all my films is what music maestro ilaya raja has given me for the cycle chase in my debut film "Shiva"..I still can't forget the goose bumps I got back in 1989 when ilaya raja was scoring that piece for that sequence of Nagarjuna and the girl on the cycle being chased by goons.

After a long time I again got a huge satisfaction with the truly original background score of Sai Kartik for "Rowdy"

Just as an effect I requested Sai kartik the music director to recreate only that piece of music of "Shiva" for a certain sequence in "Rowdy"

my main interest in this is to be able to hear the great 1989 idea of the genious of ilaya raja with the sound of 2014..So as a salute to ilaya raja Sai kartik did an integration of the cycle chase theme from Shiva into the main theme of "Rowdy" for just one piece..except for that every other track is Sai Kartik's original
On the occasion of releasing this background score of "Rowdy" whoever ever liked and remembered that cycle chase music in "Shiva" i would like them to listen to track number 17 in particular aptly titled as "Cycle Rowdy" for nostalgic purposes.
